Mickel and R.W. Dawson <a href=\"https:\/\/sora.unm.edu\/sites\/default\/files\/journals\/wilson\/v033n03\/p0132-p0141.pdf\">first discovered this species<\/a> in the state, in\u00a0Sioux County. They went on to collect three specimens that week.<\/p>\n<p>We leave our shotguns at home now, but there are still discoveries to be made in western Nebraska.
