Nebraska Says Goodbye!

There’s a good article about an old and dear friend of ours in today’s Omaha paper.

I was very proud to present the Ludlow Griscom Award to Ruth at the 2007 ABA Convention in Louisiana, and I’m happy to know that her incredibly influential efforts over these many years are being recognized as she prepares to move to Virginia.

I don’t think there’s a birder in the Midwest who hasn’t been influenced by Ruth. I know I certainly wouldn’t be doing what I do if not for her!
