Strange Cotefellows
ByAs I bring my cv up to date for the New Year, I have to wonder how many other North American birders published in all three of the following journals in 2007.
This one?
Or how about this one?
It all made me think of one of my graduate school professors, who was rumored, alone among the faculty, to have published in both Playboy and TV Guide.

Umm… congratulations??? :) I guess if I was into racing pigeons, I would definitely subscribe to the first one. After all, it IS the “thinking person’s journal.”

Yeah, other people’s hobbies! What happened was that my review of Al Croseri’s “The Flight” ended up being widely reprinted, to my amusement and (I hope) to Al’s benefit. Never thought I’d wind up in the pages of racing pigeon journals!
