Winter Wren

Sure, it’s chilly here in Atlanta, but we were surprised this morning to hear the crystal tinkling song of a Winter Wren in Alison’s back yard. The leaves have changed noticeably in just the few days I’ve been here, with maples and sweetgums glowing out the windows, and this afternoon the first White-throated Sparrow arrived at the millet pile.
